- The American question as regards national characteristics,
slavery, trade and politics Haerne, Canon de
A collection of facts from all the best authorities relative to
the political history, rise and progress of the U.S. Monsieur
Desire de Haerne, was an original member and signer of the Belguim
Constitution. The pamphlet, of which the following pages are a
translation, was published at Brussels, towards the close of July
of last year (1862). It is now presented to the English public,
with a view to aid the removal of the false impressions that may
yet exist respecting the causes of the terrific struggle still
continuing in the States of North America, and which the interest
or party-feeling of men is so apt to misstate. 1863. Translated
from French, paperwraps. *Sabin 29507 London, W.Ridgway. Listed

- In Search of Indentity Sadat, Enwar El
The Peacemaker Sadat's autobiography. Written and published before
his slaughter. Ironicly the dedication is " For the Love of
Peace" A must read, as The President of Egypt was the first
and only Middle-eastern leader to offer real peace with Israel,
and ultimately died for his gesture. You learn what a gracious man
this military genius and hero was. An example of a leader willing
to take the needed risks for real peace. You realize the facsade
of most of todays voices from the middle-east and how small minded
their personal twisted bend on destruction of their lands, their
peoples lives, and childrens futures are. The FALSE WAR being raged
in the FALSE name of ISLAM by a cowardedly few, is not what Enwar's
Egyptians were, Nor the Real Hero's of the Arab lands. The middle-east
needed a leader that offered a light into the future for peace in
the region. The radicals then, as today, rule the majority in the
guise of Islam? The people of the present day area appear as ignorant
sheep being led down a path of blood, death and destruction. The
people of the Middle-east need to wake up and see they have been
taken captive by the Devil himself as agents of war and destruction
as they bring the oldest cilvilization's honor, respect, and most
importantly trust through the gates of hell with each slaughter
they offer to the devil, Inshallah. 1978. 1st ed. 360 pgs. Portrait
of Enwar Sadat on Cover. Hardcover cloth Fine, dustcover Fine, Mylar
wrapped.
